Just a querie if anyone wants to help out. Just wondering why all other apps work with the exploit except for Naplink? I am using the MCBOOT coded by JUM and it is the only app that doesnt want to boot? I am running all this in a V9 Euro machine.

I am booting with my original psx game, it takes me to the menu where i select Naplink.ELF app from the Memory Card, and then no go!!!!! I know JUM's readme said Naplink requires the CD, so I placed the Naplink CD in before executing the ELF file and still no go!

I know my naplink CD works, as I have a modded V7 and it boots fine from that!

    Any suggestions would be great

Naplink needs the CD. An unmodded system wont read a burnt CD whether you are using the exploit or not.

    Hello

The problem is that naplink need 2 files in IRX Format, and these files can't be read by the memory card, it need the cd with IRX files of Naplink. Maybe it'll work one day for non-modded Ps2, be patient...

it just seems strange that once everything is loaded i think JUM mentioned you need the CD, I did as his readme stated. I thought that once the memcard exploit was done it wouldnt need to check for authentic disc or not, but I guess I am wrong. Im not in a hurry, I just thought a small app like this would possibly have a way of being executed from the memcard. The ps2link can be executed from the memcard, and doesnt that rely on other files?

Naplink w/exploit= black screen also with all nedeed files in memcard . The executable will search files on CD ( cdrom0 ).
Need a modified vers. of the exec to run from MC.

yeah its simple just replace the cdrom0:\%filename;1 calls with those appropriate with your BXDATA dir on your memory card.
