You want to listen to AHX tunes on the PS2?
Then try: http://www.psx-scene.com/forums/late...-released.html![]()
I have both AHX musicdisks and they kick ass
But i still miss something for my huge MOD collection (MODs Anthology, 4 CDs and PowerMOD vol.1 & 2)![]()
Err, there is a derivation of ADX called AHX, both are basically the same. They are music files used especially on the DreamCast but many titles on the PS2 uses it too. All of them work on the PS2 of course but there's no standalone player afaik, only works in the games.
The link which I provided earlier is a player for AHX tunes made on the Amiga PC. AHX (short for Abyss' Highest Experience) is a tracker for creating chip tunes, which sound like old C64 tunes. There is also HivelyTracker for the Amiga which is recently released and initially supports AHX and has it's own format too.
Both formats and more are supported in "GameMusicGear MX" for the PSP, why isn't there a version for the PS2?
Check it out here.
Well, the only thing that I found about Mod files one the PS2 are programming libraries for playing mod files, they are at :
