yes you can take off the ps2 cover, and the cover of the dvd-rom drive. I did that for a while.
Is there a specific way to do that ton? Do you have instructions so I would know how to do it and when to do it?
Do you have a Gameshark, Action Replay, Code Breaker, SwapMagic, or DVD Region free disc? (basically it can be any cdr disc that stops spinng while in-game, and lets you load another game.
because what i use to do is load my gameshark cd, then when it gets to the menu it stops spinng. Thats when i took the cover off the dvd drive (the ps2 cover was already off) and switched the disc to my home burnt cdr. Then i would choose load game without cheats, and it would boot.
you can also search the internet for "ps2 swap methods" and see if you get the basic idea. but you need one of the discs mentioned above...a swap disc
Ah, Thank You Ton, I have a game shark, and I always thought it was when you had to load the game with out cheats, and then put the disc in when it says it, but the menu makes sense now. Thanks
When I burn the MCLoader disc for the swap trick so I can then use UMCDR burned CD's there are four files correct?
Correct? I just wanna make sure I get it right the first time.
for MCLoader v1.3, it alreayd has a BIN and CUE file, so just use Nero or CDRWin to open the CUE and burn the cd.
Really? Cause the one I have doesn't have one... Of course, mine wouldn't open with Winzip or Stuffit Expander, so I had to open it with Winrar or something, and I only got 3 folders out of it, no bin or cues in the folders or anywhere.
you're right, it has been updated from the first release, probably made smaller so as to not use up as much bandwith.
so then, in the "Files" folder, burn all the files in it, simple as that.
