dunno what kinda forum section to put this into, so put it here, mods please move if its in the wrong section .
onto my question: is there any program i can use to browse/manage files on my MC, HDD, or (whenever i get one) usb flash drive? I used to use ps2os, but for some reason it tends to freeze up when accessing the MC (im thinking that has to do with the large number of saves i have, yay for 30 FFX saves alone ). the main problem i have with this is that even though it wont freeze unless i try to view entries in the MC below the default displayed (i.e., if the list displays saves titled from A-J, if i attempt to view a save from K onward which is not shown on the screen), my BOOT folder is below the saves so i cant view the folder, thanks to game saves being prefixed by BADATA or whatever it is.
the reason i'm asking is i recently got a new HDD (yay!) and i've been looking to load up a newer patched version of hdloader onto my HDD, and run keylauncher/launchelf off the MC (or possibly switch to the infinity's dev2 mode, havent decided yet). currently, i've got hdloader on the MC and i'm running it via dev1. i mainly want to just have a program that i can use to manage the boot folder on my MC, with copy capabilities for sources from CD and/or network if possible (so that i can copy over elfs from CD, comp, etc.). i looked at mcmanager, but it doesnt seem to fit what i want to do. using execftp is a temporary solution, but gets annoying if i do not have the computer on hand and just need to restore files from CD to the MC/HDD. any help would be greatly appreciated.
some notes in case people need additional information:
