i want to make a cd that install boot.elf into mc0:boot/
do i need anything more on the cd than the install.cnf and the actual boot.elf?
is the install.cnf triggered automaticly on startup?

is it a must with system.cnf?

install.cnf is compatible only with dms chips, and infinity if i'm not wrong...

if you want to install a programm into mc0:/boot just use a filemanager or a program called dev.installer

if you already have a means of running launch.elf just run that. burn your boot.elf to a cdr, cdrw, dvdrw or whatever. in launch.elf run file browser which from memory i think is in either mass or misc, press eject put in cd with boot elf now highlight cdfs and press circle, it will read cd,copy boot.elf and then paste in mco:/boot
