Thanks for the updates!:)
VGA mode is working, but it outputs "pure" 640x480@60hz. I can only get an small screen in my monitor. It does not fill the whole screen like 480p PS2 games or apps like SMS or GSM.
Also, the botton of the emulator screen (credits rolling?) does not appear in NTSC or trough GSM VGA (maybe because it's a PAL screen originally?).
I took an hour to realize that in options I must press LEFT instead of TRIANGLE to go back like in previous versions. I thoguht it was a bug.
Now some noob questions:
- Is there any way to fix the emulator bugs? Some games don't work properly.
-- In Bare Knuckle III the emulator cannot keep left (and maybe right) pressed, it "blinks" the direction instead.
-- The asphalt in Road Rash II is blue.
-- Super Street Fighter II doesn't work at all and freezes in a red screen.
-- Shining Force I and II don't have the correct aspect ratio.
- Would it be too hard to port another emulator? Just wondering why Picodrive is so used in mobile devices and Gens has a Dreamcast port still being updated.
- What about that SDL things? I really know nothing about it, but I think that it was used by KarasQ or Ragnarok to make a test on that GBA emulator.
- Would make any difference to recompile other emulators (like Snesstation) in this way too?
Thanks again and sorry about these dumb questions. :D
Oh, so much questions :D yes you are fully right & i was trying to port another emulator but BUT it is very hard cause i have to fully rewrite "video driver" but im not so familiar with PS2 and MegaDrive to make it in real life. The situation is complicated by the fact that sJeep (original creator) don't just take Generator and port it into PS2 hardware. No! He was trying to rewrite sound part and finally take Megadrive side sound from Gens but PS2 side sound driver was written from scratch.

So yes my dream is to rewrite pGen on another base. My preferences on the Genesis Plus GX on WII as much more accurate. As for Picodrive - yep it is very fast (maybe the fastest cause source code partially is written on assembler) but latests sources are unavailable and it is not as accurate as i want.
As for SDL :) :) there is no way to use any sdl, opengl directx or smth like this. In InfoGB they are using scaling. Image scaling - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia This thing i can try to port (it is not so difficult) into project.
Oh guys i know about this in game bugs and i know why they appear - they appear because there is incorrect sprite ordering.
As about SneStation - i was trying to compile it but nothing... And emulator author still is unaccessible.
This looks to be the repository but up to you to figure out what it all is for Pico
Thanks for the explanations! :D

About the SDL, I was talking about the GBA not GBC emulator. I can't remember right but there's a some kind of direct port of the Dreamcast GBA emulator to the PS2.
I can't find the right thread either but here's KarasQ saying something on post #52: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f91/ps2i...66/index8.html
So, if it is "a port of a port" from the Dreamcast, could any other emulator be ported this way?
Very good this emulator dreamcast
: I'm thinking of updating some install packs that have your earlier PGEN revisions (Thanks!!), but are you busy working on more revisions or did RL take you away? (Forgive my impertinence, take my Q at face value, tia!).
Oh I stop working on it cause I have to work much on my PS2 BB Navigator customs...
