Lightgun support on emulators

Is possible playing MAME/Nes/Snes... gun games on ps2 with a guncon or similar lightgun?

Or maybe use the analog stick as a replacement with a pointer (a la using mouse in mame).

Drakonite made a Duck Hunt clone for the PlayStation 2 that supposedly utilizes a PS1 GunCon. I don't have a Guncon myself or any other lightgun for the PSX/PS2. However, I do have the original NES zapper lightgun, the original gray one.

So I'd say it's possible, but it's probably easier to make your own homebrew guncon games much like Drakonite did.

Try over at emulation64 here. The second link at the bottom of that news post clip should link to the binary.
