Well, the only PS2 Web browsers were released over in Japan for the PS2. There are several different web browsers (Japan only) for PS2. Some must be installed to the HDD while don't have to be installed to HDD. The HDD utility called PSBBN (This was only released in Japan) comes with a web browser.
There are no web browsers for PS2 released in the USA. If you want to use the browsers from Japan, you will need a modchip in your PS2.
There is another way to have web browsers on PS2 & the way is by the PS2 Linux Kit. If you own the PS2 Linux Kit, you can download Mozilla for PS2 from http://playstation2-linux.com/ .
This is not true, there was a web browser here in the usa and I have it on disk. I believe it was a bata version but does work. If I can the fin the disk I will post who it was made by.Originally Posted by EugeneWE3RD
