I can´t see Infinity Manager files in ExecFTP
I can´t see Infinity Manager files in ExecFTP –
I had a PS2 5000X (3C) USA with a Matrix Infinity with 1.38 Firmware it it. So I instaled ExecFTP 0.68 in the MC and used to load it via Infinity Manager and them use FlashFXP to ftp it. So I could manager files/saves in the MC even the Infinity manager ones.
I sold that PS2 and now I bought a new PS2 50001 (4C) with Matrix Infinity and 1.39 firmware. Instaled Inifinity manager and ExecFTP 0.69. So I can ftp to PS2 with FlashFXP but I can "see" the files of Infinity Manager. I tried to use old firmwares revsions and the ExecFTP 0.68, but I just can see the saves in the flashfxp, can´t see the files in SmartFTP either.
Does any1 know what is going on? I can manage saves files, but not Infinity Manager files. IS there something wrong with my FTP program?
I have same and no prob, Infman files are located in MATRIXTEAM folder and the folder you installed other appz except you had used \ instead of / , in that case you will see a long file in mc0 root like \EXECTFP\EXECFTP.ELF anyway to correct this you can hexaedit the file MCAPPS.DAT in MATRIXTEAM folder and put it all in order, to do this you must use a hexaedit tool, not notepad.
So, make folders for appz and transfer elfs, with flashfxp, then remake MCAPPS.DAT and thats it, then u can modify apps as u may wish.

Hi, i have the same problem, i just found this post, could u give me an example, am kinda of a n00b :S
*EDIT* figured it out, but now when I launch ExecFTp from memory card, instead of cd, i get this:
WinSock 2.0 -- OpenSSL 0.9.7g 11 Apr 2005
[R] Connecting to Broodje PS2 -> IP=192.168.0.157 PORT=21
[R] Connected to Broodje PS2
[R] Connection failed (Connection lost)
and am using the exact same settings
*EDIT* man am stupid, i had a different IP in the CONFIG.DAT then i had in my flash fxp settings
anyhow, i was able to make a dir on the Memory card with a cd and this 'INSTALL.CNF' file,
HDLoader 0.7c MDMA 2.4
CP cdrom0:/BOOT.ELF;1 mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF
however, it does not copy the actual BOOT.ELF file to the 'BOOT' fĂłlder, altough it is on the same cd...
Ofcourse i can copy a BOOT.ELF to my memorycard manually with execftp, and re-write the the MCAPPS.DAT, so it will work anyway, but i still would like to know what i am doing wrong...
