I am goin to kill my self over FTP

I cant get it to work I know there are 100s of post about this and non of them work for me

my ps2:
ip 192.168.1.101
netmask 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.1.0

I get every thing working on the ps2 but what thew hell do I do in the PC

Please help me before I lose all my hair

192.168.1.0 is not the addess of a PC (that shouldnt matter though)

is your PC on the same subnet as the ps2?

linux - as root ifconfig -a
windows - ipconfig

make sure your ftp client has passive mode disabled.

open your ftp cleint and connect to 192.168.1.101 port FTP, l/p anonymous/anything

I am using windows and how do I change anything on the pc ?

try using flashfxp on your computer.
when you load up hit f8 and type in your 192.168.1.102 in your server box, make sure you have a check in "anonymous", port 21
goto "toggles" uncheck "passive mode"
