I'm not sure exactly what you meant by 'post' here, but if you did mean that you want to add new entries into the FMCB menu, like when adding more programs that you want to start through that menu, such as various emulators, then you need to do this by using the configurator of FMCB. This should be one of the predefined menu entries, reading "Free McBoot Configurator", normally placed at the bottom of the menu list.

The screen appearance of the configurator and some of its usage is reminiscent of uLaunchELF (== uLE), but don't read to much into those similarities, as there are differencies too.

One of the biggest differencies lies in how you define menu entries, as this is not done like you would in uLE, by having that menu visible in the configurator and choosing a line to modify.

Instead you first have to use the command "Configure OSDSYS options..." and in the "OSD Settings" menu which then appears you can only see one of the menu entries at a time, displayed similar to this: "Configure Item 1 : uLaunchELF". What you should do is to move the arrow cursor down to this line, and then press DPad_Right repeatedly, which each time has the effect of stepping to the next editable item of the FMCB menu, like "Configure Item 2 : ESR" and so on. And after you have stepped through all current items this way, you will reach an entry which has no string after the ':' character, meaning that it is free for new definitions. Activating that entry will allow you to define both the string displayed for it in the FMCB menu and the alternate paths which FMCB will search for the software in (using extra paths is optional).

Once you have finished your entries and backed out to the main menu of the configurator you should of course use one of the "Save CNF..." commands, so as not to lose the results, and after saving you can test the results by restarting FMCB with the command "PS2 Browser (FMCB Restart)" at the bottom of that screen.

    @ dlanor

Or he means the Boot-Screen-Logo of FMCB ??

    @ DjPlace

If you want to manipulate the Boot-screen where "Free Mc Boot" comes up, i think with your knowings.... nope you cant.

Yes, I agree. That is just as easy to do as adding launch buttons in uLE.
And it is even done in a very similar way. (originally based on donated code )

But it does not add anything visible to the FMCB menu, which is what I think DJPlace wants to do.

Then again, it could be like LopoTRI guessed, that the guy wants to modify the boot screen.
Though if that's the case he's out of luck, as we categorically refuse to help anyone do that...
