I have a PS2 V9 with Modchip Matrix Infinity.
I want to put Launchelf and SMS on my memory card to boot from.
But first things first.
Which program can I use to copy these to my memory card?
Which option should I choose in the Matrix Settings to let it boot from de memcard?

uhm, well, if u have a MI chip, use the DEV1 boot method, or the matrix infinity manager. thats the good thing about MI. if u have an old chip, u have to use the exploit trick.
so, go get the Matrix infinity manager(wonder why u dont have it already
)
burn the cd with the MI manager and install it on your Memory card, then follow my tutorial. so u can install any app on your memory card u want.
but, if your not going to install more then 5 apps on your memory card, u can just use the MI manager
(Because u can't see more then 5 apps in the MI manager menu
)

I think I'll try the dev1 method first.
But how can I install the launchelf on the memory card then?
By first installing infinity manager or is there another way?

yes, u have to install the infinity manager first, or use the explit, but that is not at all neccesary since u have the Infinity manager.
The DEV1 mode is very handy becuase u can boot 1 app of your choice by holding R2 when u boot your PS2.
I dont use lanchelf becuase I only use like 6 apps (6 apps because u can use DEV2 mode also, IF u have a PS2 hdd)
I Use mediaplayer, hdloader hdl dump server, dms hdd format, memory card format and ps2 OS and SMS.
good luck

I found another way by using the LaunchELF bootCD and putting all the necessary ELF files on a cd and via the Filebrowser copying it.
I installed SMS and it works, it recognizes a CD but not via the network.
I use ps2clientgui 1.0 and set it up but SMS doesn't seem to find any files.
How come?
