How to put homebrew on mc/hd
How to put homebrew on mc/hd –
how do you put homebrew such as hdl onto mc/hdd?
You need a program like uLaunchELF, which is a file manager (amongst other things). uLaunchELF allows you to access both of your MCs, HDD, and USB slots. You can also use it's built-in FTP server with a windows ftp client or the HOST feature with a ps2 client program like ps2client (also in the uLaunchELF forums) or radhostclient. Once you get uLaunchELF running off your MC, USB, or HDD, you can copy anything you like.
I believe uLaunchELF's FTP server doesn't work well with certain FTP clients, so if yours doesn't work, then try using FlashFXP, Filezilla, or the regular Windows built-in command-line FTP. I personally use Total Commander's built-in FTP client. I don't think all USB sticks are compatible either, but I so far have been able to use my regular 8MB USB stick (old I know), 64MB MP3 player, and digital camera (with a 1GB SD card in it) to transfer files to and from my PS2 using uLaunchELF.
Hardware: PS2 v7 (GH-022) NTSC | Crystal Chip 2.0 Pro SLE | Sony Network Adapter | 300GB Segate HDD
Software: uLaunchELF 4.40 | HDLoader 0.8c | HDL_Dump 0.8.6+GUI | SMS 2.9 (Rev.3)
My Projects: uLaunchELF - skins/template | skin template readme | documentation (contributor)
Strongly recommend: MyPS2, if you have a samba share in your network.
how can u get ulaunchELF on to the mc?
u need a chipped ps2 or use the exploit to run unsigned code, 'a.k.a homebrew apps', on your ps2.
when u can run homebrew apps like ulaunchelf, u can copy everything u like.
how can u run ulaunchelf? Assume i have a matrix infinity.

oh yeh, and u need an XviD codec installed for the avi, but almost everyone has that.
I used XviD codec coz it had the best quality and best compression.
