How do I Properly burn a UMCDR disc?
How do I Properly burn a UMCDR disc? –

I started CDGenPS2, dragged couple of files to it's window, and saved a UMCDR image with the appropriate option in it's image writing dialog.
I tried to burn the resulting cue/dat file with both Alcohol 120% and Nero - in both of them I selected 'Audio CD' as a burning preset, but after some short pre-processing, both of them gave me some error, before the actual burning even started...
Am I preparing the UMCDR image in a wrong way, or is there some special setting in Nero or Alcohol that has to be used when burning an image of this kind? My cue files looks like this:
FILE "imagen.dat" BINARY
TRACK 01 AUDIO
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 AUDIO
INDEX 01 00:06:02

you dont choose a pre-setting in Nero. While inside it, just open up the CUE file and it will automatically be able to tell what type of file it is and how to burn it.

I have tried doing that, but I got the same error again. When I open that Cue file, Nero automatically recognizes the image as 'Audio CD' but it fails to burn it every single time...

perhaps you've got a bad version of cdgenps2? hard to say.
I use Max Media Creator to burn my UMCDRs with compatability mode 2.

I have the latest CDGenPS2 (v3.0)
I can also try using the Max Media Creator (I have version 1.0) Where do I set the compatibility mode in it? I don't see the option for that.
are you in nero express, or nero burning rom?
I can use either... Does it really make any difference?

I had trouble at a friend's house burning UMCDR discs, despite the fact that I used the exact same process and programs at my house. The only thing I could think of is that his cdwriter is modifying the cd image for some unknown reason.

wtf?
this is simple. grab your image you made in CDGenPS2. i'm not sure why nero is ****ing up, but download http://www.burnatonce.com/
then give it your bin/cue, and you will be set.
