How To Burn Ps2Reality Pro
How To Burn Ps2Reality Pro –
04-21-2006,09:05 PM
Hello,
First, Iam aware that I am asking a noobish question, but this question means allot to me. I have searched google and many other sites for this anwser with no avail, and that fact that the PS2Reality site is down dose not help. I am looking to find out how to burn PS2REALITY PRO to a disk or PS2REALITY PRO Plus to a disk.
Currently When I Unzip The File PS2 Reality Pro 2 I See the Following:
Folders:
doc
java
ps2
ps2linux
vfat
Licenses
unrarlib-liceanse
If someone could tell me, simply how to burn them, What Files To Put Where, I already have NERO, CDGENPS2, CDRWIN, WINRAR ect.. Also I would like to have included on the CD the ability for me to connect my PS2 to the Network so I can stream my shared video files to the PS2.
Any Help Or Point In The Right Direction Would Be HEAVEN for Me.

Ok, here goes:
The folder "ps2" contains some of the stuff you need for burning a CD, such as a working "SYSTEM.CNF" file, but you'll also need to be/get familiar with how to make and use homebrew CDs in general. There are tons of tutorials on this subject on most PS2 sites. Keep searching and you will find some.
The folder "java" contains the stuff you need to install on your PC to let it handle network transfer to PS2Reality on your PS2. This is based on a server written in Java and known as VFS (Virtual File System), I've used it myself so I know that it works, but it can be a bit tricky to get started.
The folder "doc" contains some documentation that you should read, and unless you are italian I recommend using "Readme.html" (for italians "Leeme.html").
However, when all is said and done, I really recommend you to check out the SMS project as well. For normal DivX/XviD AVIs it outperforms PS2Reality by far. This is an Open-Source project with no end in sight, as opposed to PS2Reality which always was Closed-Source, and now seems virtually dead.

If you want to burn it on a Cd, read the manual on the follow link, it's a good site that explain what you have to do step by step, but it's in spanish bud, so pick up a translator, and go ahead! good luck!
