I had heard at one time that some people where working on their own cheating software. This true? Any progress? I searched around, but couldn't verify it.
    thanks!,

    I would love this too..

I don't know how feasable, but to have a device that functioned like the old GSPro for PSX would be great.. being able to freeze the code in action and take/compare addy values... I can dream..

What about process on a real time debugger? I'm not up much on the PS2 boot process and OS functionality (pretty new to console stuff). Would it be feasible to craft a loader which could spawn a daemon to run in the background and load the elf of the game? Of course this gets into process managment, which would be a function of the OS. Which leads to the next question... is there an actual OS environment the game loads into, or is it traditional "load and execute"? GAH! I'm assuming there's some sort of ability to multi-task, else how do the software based cheat devices work?
    thanks!,

cheating software... as in gameshark and codebreaker?

if so, just decrypt ur gameshark and open all the files on ur PC/MAC. Then change a couple things on some files (mainly this makes the gameshark different from its orgianl copy). Make an ISO and burn it.

If anyone is wondering what the point of this is..... this is how you bypass DNAS if your wondering. This is how you rip off a cheat device and get online with it. *requires a modchip*
