Hi people...
does anybody know what happened to Hiryu? Since he's not updating SNES-station anymore... did he also joined that modchip team or just left the PS2 scene?

Hi people...

I would love to see the source for SNES Station, and second of all to modify it to look for games on the HD.
Over at the Snes-station forums located at http://www.gamebase.ca/gamebase/inde...=40&?board=5.0 some people were asking if the project was closed & some members says it is not.
There isn't any info on what happened to Hiryu but I believe he probably doesn't have too much time on his hands. Also, the rules of the Gamebase forums prohibits asking when a new update to an emu will come out & this is the reason why there isn't too much info on Hiryu on the Gamebase Snes-station forums.
Members over at the Gamebase forums mentioned in certain posts that if Snes-station was over, Hiryu would have posted about it.
Just be patient, in fact, over in the PC emu scene, there have been cases where there were emu's which weren't updated for several years then the author(s) made an update so patience is the key.
Is it possible that somebody else has the sourcecode, like Sjeep or Drak? I found Sjeeps name in the ELF by looking at it in HEX Editor, and there is a post on game base where Drakonite made a patch so that it would be possible for it to work with Swap Magic, don't you need the source code for that?
The reason that you might have seen their names is because that stuff is based on open source software, which requires crediting the source of where the information came from.
If someone DOES have the source code, I HIGHLY doubt they would be likely to cough it up, especially without the author's permission.
Leonheart - you don't need the source to create patches, just look at hdl. It may be possible that certain other people have the source, but will not release it until the author says it's okay. Where you see sjeeps' name in the elf, that is the cdvd "driver" that he and hiryu developed. honestly though, you wonder why he just hasn't released it yet, especially if he does not have time for it anymore.
