i burned IMBNES to a cd and i booted it with gamesharks boots up to the it might be nes screen thats blue and says the creators name then it pauses on that blue screen and nothing after that works.
thats one problem
the next is with gb,gbc, and gg
i have alot of roms that all end in # gb or # gbc or # gg
example
007 James Bond - the World isn't Enough # GBC.GBC
what i want is it to be just the title .gbc or whatever the extension is
so 007 James Bond - the World isn't Enough.GBC
and i have like 2000 games or so to do so how could i do them all easily?
any help would be awesome thanks

I'm not sure what you mean when you say "booted it with gamesharks", but I guess you mean some kind of disc swapping method. Whatever the case may be, you need to be aware that ImbNES is not a PS2 program, but a PS1 program, so an ImbNES disc must be prepared and booted by PS1 standards, not by PS2 standards.

For huge renaming tasks like this (be it ROMs or TV-series AVIs, etc) I mostly use "WildRename" by "Cylog Software". This is a very powerful and flexible tool, and despite that it was still freeware when last I checked. You can find it at their site via this link
Btw:
Don't take this to mean that I endorse all of their stuff. They also have lots of programs I neither like nor use, but since they're all free there's no reason to complain. And WildRename really is excellent. Far more so than many commercial programs I've seen.
