Has someone tried to customize SIOSHELL in order to work with another method than serial (i.e., Ethernet, USB or Modem)?

You just revived a thread almost five years dead, to ask a specific question about something that is not mentioned in the thread title. This is not a good idea, since people are going to pass by that thread without knowing what your question really concerned.

For such cases it is much better to start a new thread, with a title that clearly states what you are interested in. (Like SIOSHELL for this case)
