Has anyone patched Ico for 480i/576i or 480p/576p?

Ico is one of very few PS2 games which output a 240p/288p non-interlaced video signal. Most PlayStation 1 and older consoles (NES, Super NES etc.) also output a signal like that.
Unfortunately some TVs and video capture devices don't like 240p/288p non-interlaced signals, especially when the PS2 is connected via component video. Has anyone figured out a patch for Ico to either force it to use interlaced output (480i/576i), or to progressive output (480p/576p)?

No need to patch anything, go for GSM, it's easiest way to do that. I myself had this same issue time ago with ICO game and GSM did the work.

Thanks for the tip! GSM is definitely something I need to investigate.
