Hey guys..A bit new to the forums (been watching them for about 6 months but haven't registered) and for the first time I need some help..

I'm trying to find an app which can test gamepads, they're behaving funny (right vibration motor won't work) and I want to test them out completely then try and fix them. Now I've serched the internet and these forums but I only found a thread that dates from way back (2006?), when another guy asked the same question, but the replies weren't very informative. I made a new thread so as not to bump that old one..

I would buy a ps2 to usb adapter but they're exremely hard to find these days, especially where I live. And the few ones I've seen (way back when I didn't even think of needing them ) were overpriced. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    cheers!

    Actually, I have a padtest.elf.
I don't remember who made it, but I know I got it here (at this site).
When in it, hold triangle and press the up arrow to test the steady rumble (Triangle + down arrow turns it off), and hold triangle and move the left analog stick down for the variable rumble. On screen all the button's values will be shown.

Edit: Ok, found the orig thread: PS2 controller tester.
