hello everyone, i installed free mcboot on my ps2 slim using the noobie package. everything went ok.. but the problem i am facing is that when i launch the burned game from esr, after different colours flashing on screen, the game screen starts flickering like anything.. the game runs fine as you can still see during the flickers and sound is ok as well. i tried differnet option , different blank dvd's , -r , different companies, tried burning smackdown, god of war , but all have the same problem. really getting annoyed that after all this work, i still cnt enjoy some nice gaming. . pleae help. i am just not able to understand whats going wrong..

Ok will try but have never had this problem
will normal games work with your PS2 if yes then is your problem maybe that you got the wrong region like PAL on a NTSC system or reverse
    and if right region
Try to force with GSM http://psx-scene.com/forums/f291/gs-...eedback-61808/ (GS Mode Selector: Development & Feedback)

Sounds like maybe bad wire or GS is going hope for your sake it in not Graphic Synthesizer

First of all, do these problematic games work fine when run off their original media?
Secondly, if your games are imports, can your TV work with the game's video mode? (Supports BOTH PAL and NTSC video standards)
Lastly, please use Verbatim DVD-R discs that were manufactured by either Taiyo Yuden or Mitsubishi if you haven't been doing so. Cheap discs will wear out your later sooner and may result in gameplay issues.

If not that is why if so something like I stated before is the problem like video cord but you say it works fine with regular games strange
