About merging the combined libcdvd update with the trunk PS2SDK –
What if a compatibility layer is added, one that has got duplicated definitions for both the old IOP and EE libcdvd libraries? Sure that would probably give a lot of cast errors during compile time, but at least those large software outside of the PS2SDK will probably still build...
*sighs*... it's gotten to the point where I have two PS2SDK installations for several different projects, and then it's not easy keeping both updated since the libcdvd branch is from r900 (some important fixes are missing, like the fixes to the DEV9-related header files). :/
But then I can't just make commits like that, because there's no point in making commits that nobody wants (Other than the fact that it's just plain rude anyway). D:
