Fireburner problem! Please help!
Fireburner problem! Please help! –
Whenever I try to use Fireburner, I get the error message:
Thread1: Setting Write Parameters
Thread1: Reading Disc Info
Thread1: Start LBA is -11231
Thread1: Processing Lead-in
Thread2: Write Error @ Sector -11231
Thread2: Sense Error: ILLEGAL_REQUEST (INVALID FIELD IN COMMAND PACKET) (0x05 0x24 0x00)
Thread2: Synchronizing Cache
The CD ejects, and that's it. For some reason this error just started happening. It used to work, and I have made no changes (installs, etc.) to my PC. I am trying to create an mp3 disk using the pdx-mp3 program, but the error happens with any type of data. The test write errors out also.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Any suggestions?
i think you need to re-install your ASPI drivers or get the newest one, i can't post a link because i don't have one, but i know someone can!
I just installed the latest ASPI drivers (version 4.71.1). At first FB would not recognize the drive. One more restart solved that. I still am getting the same error message that I posted above...
use nero to burn the bin..4x or less
or if that fails then extract the bin
using isobuster and rebuild an ISO9660 w/joliet
in nero and burn to CDR.. wohlla working game..
I have run into similar problems in the past...
Does it always seem to be the same sector? Have you tried ending all tasks that are running (except Fireburner and Explorer)? Try lowering the burn speed just to see if that makes a difference. I just ran into a very similar problem with Clone Cd, and nothing I did would fix it. All my other burning apps worked fine (CDRWin, Fireburner, Nero) so I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it and it works fine.
Have you changed any settings in the program?
