I am using execftps right now for my file transfer 'needs'. But the problem is execftp is VERY buggy and unreliable. Are there any other programs that transfer elfs, mp3's etc to ps2 partitions from the pc (it doesnt have to be ftp).
    Thanks,

Id really like that transfer apps like hdldump or winhiip could transfer elf or any files directly to the HD (PS2menu or ps2Os partition not hdloader of course) because my PS2 isnt connected and I have to burn cds each time (my pendrive doesnt work either :-( )

That is very true about ExecFTPs v0.68, but v0.69 is MUCH better.

Some programs (eg: Altimit) can access files on the PC through the virtual device "host:", when started by PS2Link. This can be used to copy files from the PC HD to PS2 HDD or PS2 MC, or to run ELFs directly from the PC HD.

With WinHIIP you can take the ps2 harddrive and connect it directly to your PC and transfer games through that

With hdl_dump you can also directly transfer games connect to ur PC *or* over the network through a hub, router, or cross over cable. this is the way i transfer files.

    That's beside the point.
He was asking about normal file copying, not about game installation.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I found that many of the problems I had with execftps was within flashfxp. I found a copy of cuteftp on my system and I found that fixed MANY of my previous problems. Besides all that, it seems there are no other alike programs that anyone has mention so I'll just use cuteftp and execftp.

Oh and I already use hdld_svr and hdl_dumb but thanks anyway.

if you have a 128 MB or more USB thumb drive (so it can run in fat32) you can just copy files to it and pull them off with launchelf.
