Alright, I've got a few questions here about some, what should be, simple answers for some people out there. OK...
First, I need help FTP'ing to the PS2, what should each setting be (for the PS2, and the PC). And when editing the PS2, if necessary, would I need to edit it's IP through the network setup disk?
Second, I need a damn good interface to boot to. Something that will start where all the games are, and one that can launch a program easy (such as HDLoader).
edit: these 2 solved, but a new problem has surfaced, explained further down...

I can help you with the first part. Go here: http://lookatthemonkeys.com/html/ps2tut.html
As far as loaders go, I have no damn clue.
US/NTSC V5 - Matrix Infinity v1.75. - Network Adapter - WesternDigital 80GB HDD - CodeBreaker v9.2

I'm not sure what you mean by "start where all the games are". To me that would mean starting it via HDLoader, as that is 'where all the games are', but if you do it that way then the loader may be crippled (because HDL affects the system in ways impossible to kill without system reset).
The best program I know of for launching other APPs (or copying files etc) is LaunchELF. You can find this in another thread of this forum. Look for "unofficial LaunchELF", since these versions have gone beyond the original in capabilities. LaunchELF itself can be launched by almost any launch method, including exploits, Dev.1 booting (MC), Dev.2 booting (HDD), CD-R booting, DVD-R booting, etc.

OK, i like the launcher, but still one problem with FTP'ing. Do you have to set your PC to a certain setting through its IP settings?
I need a response VERY quickly.

good call wallacee, but i'm having even more of a problem now that i can connect, my hard drive wont keep anything that i save onto it. basically, when i restart, it clears anything on it, and i can't FTP any files onto the HDD. any help with this, and i did search it, but couldn't find anything related to it. hopefully i'm not over looking anything.
