Hey, was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

I set up ExecFTP fine and I'm using FlashFXP.

The problem occurs when I tried to download my entire Memory Card to my Computer.
If I try to download too many files at once the FTP freezes up and then I need to shut down my Ps2 and restart.

Another random problem that occurs frequently is I cannot turn off my ps2 by holding down the power button anymore while doing homebrew things, or playing online, and at certain parts of games. I need to flick the switch at the back.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    it's all normal.
execftp (and also the simple ps2ftpd irx thats a little better) somethimes freeze with much or big files. try limiting to 20kb/s there is nothing other to do
also this is normal and it's written into the network adapter istruction manual it's a protection method Don't switch off from the rear switch from the reset botton and keep it pressed 5 second or more

I usually can just diconnect from the PS2 with FlashFXP then reconnect.... only when working with the MC.... I have to power off the PS2 when it does it with the HDD...

also to help with this problem when uploading to MC.... after it freezes make sure to remove the file in the que list or you will have it happen again... most of the time it freezes at the end of a file transfer... the files transfer but EXEcFTP doesn't send the completed command... so the system thinks it's still transfering..
