ExecFTP with bridged connections
ExecFTP with bridged connections –

Hello all, I'm trying to setup a network in order to stream videos using SMS and Rad Host client. I have followed countless guides, and managed to get ExecFTP and SMS working, but I can't setup a connection to my Ps2, mainly because my router assigns a different IP everytime the FTP server turns on.
Here's some more info on what I'm using and hardware specifications;
PS2:
SlimPs2
Using Swap Magic 3.6 in order to boot ELF discs.
PC:
Modem with built in router. (ZyXel 660R-61C)
Ps2 connected to PC with crossover cable
Bridged Connections
The standard LAN IP is 192.168.1.34 and default gateway is 192.168.1.254

All PS2 software uses 'static IP' meaning that the IP address of both the PS2 and its 'gateway' (for you the router) should be a fixed unchanging number. But your router is clearly configured to use 'Dynamic IP' where the IP is decided at each connection event, by the DHCP server in the router.
You simply need to change that configuration, to use 'Static IP' instead, disabling the DHCP server, and then make a matching configuration of your PC. I use a similar setup myself, based on an old netgear router.

I have tried several things, but always ended up being unable to connect to my modem.
EDIT:
I managed to set one static IP for the PS2 Connection, but when trying to connect to the IP specified, I connect to my own PC, and not the Ps2 =/
Edit2:
Double-checked the settings, and the Ps2 is listening on the same IP as I specified in Network connections. And when connecting;
[R] Connecting to 192.168.1.35 -> IP=192.168.1.35 PORT=21
[R] Connection failed (Connection refused)
FINAL EDIT:
Resolved.....
As stupid as it may be, I forgot to bridge the connections.
