    Hello everybody,

I've been messing around with usbadvance for a while now, and i've found the ESR project.
So i tried to install the ESR in any way possible, but it seems not to work..
(I use memor32 card, and i've got my sony's original MC modded, so it'll launch everything from there)

    So here's my questions:

How can i install the esr on to my original MC so i can choose between ule, esr and browser on main screen?

For now, i've got nicely the original main menu with ule choice. (i'm using ule 4.30 and FMCB 1.7)

And how/where do i have to put the DVD player "mod" so it'll patch my ps2 drivers?

    Regards,

    Martin

Place the desired ESR version (dvdv direct mostly) as ESR.ELF in your BOOT folder and set up the ESR path in your config with the FMCB configurator. Wenn you now launch a ESR "Video-DVD" within the hacked OSD it should boot up ESR automatically.

As second option, you can launch your esr .ELF file or the ESR GUI with uLaunchELF while a ESR disc is in you drive.

I'm not available for FMCB installation service until I can guarantee a processing time of a few days again, sorry.

Just put the "ESR dvdv direct.elf" renamed to "ESR.ELF" into the BOOT-Folder on your MC and if you didn´t changed anything related to the "ESR-Path"-Option, it´ll start your ESR-Discs automatically directly through the Browser.

    Edit: K. "Someone" was faster.

    HI,

So did i got it right - i'll just put the esr.elf(former dvd direct.elf) to my MC's boot folder and that's it? Does the ESR choice will appear on my ps2 main screen or i have to create it some(how?).
Also, don't i have to change some bin files and rename something to dvdplayer and etc?

    Thanks in advance,

    Martin

Yes. Copy the ESR.ELF to the BOOT-Folder and you´re fine.
You don´t even need to select ESR from the progrann-list, beause as I said,... ESR-Discs auto-start throught the browser then.
