EMULATOR that can be run on HDD

hi! is there an emulator that can run on HDD and can STAND ALONE in the HDD, by using HD loader way?

Its ok to use USB in installing the emulator... but when comes in playing the emulator, the emulator should be independent in the HD. is there?

Every single emulator with hdd support can be used from hdloader/usbextreme using multiloader 1.43 as boot program to boot the emulators.

I installed PGen and it's roms on the HDD. I boot my PS2, run ULaunchELF and select PGen. Simple as that.

how about not depending on ULE?

i mean that running emulators though HDL... is there?

Well, i think it's better to have ULE as a starting point. Then you can easily run anything, including HDLoader.

I think you could create a PS2 Disc Image with the Emulator + some roms, and run it through HDLoader, but i have no idea how to do it.

PGEN and SNES-STATION 0.2.4 can be made as CD images with CDGEN or ps2mkisofs, then injected with hdl_dump or similar application.

i have run s-nes though HDL, BUT! it won't run with out a CD in the cd rom of the ps2. now i just want to run s-nes w/o cd. but how will it do that?

PGEN and SNES-Station 0.2.4 HDD works for me.
However it’s faster to load it from uLE,
not having to wait for HDLoader to read everything.

I tried it already and it works well on HDLoader

Pgen [Roms on HDD]
Snes [Roms on HDD]
PSms [Romson CD emulated by HDloader]
INFOnes revision 4 by dlanor [Romson CD emulated by HDloader]

for the roms that are on the HDD,you should have created a partiton for roms first, then you can browse for it.

for the roms on CDVD, just browse iton CD, no other else..

but then again it's much faster to use uLaunchELF,and boot everything else..
