Has anyone here yet got naplink to work via DMS explorer whithout DVD access? Or have naplink source code?

I want to save DVD drive wear, due to my code requireing full reset many times during a short time, due to crashing IOP maybe??, as I am fiddleing with IOP code rather than EE.

Or is PukaLink via Ethernet able to cope with rapid reboot more favourabley, yes I see it has DM3 freindly now..

yep sure does but "IPCONFIG.DAT" doesnt copy over so it will default to the following settings: IP 192.168.0.10, Netmask 255.255.255.0, Gateway 192.168.0.1

but if you boot from cd then it loads with your IP settings.

anyone else know how to get that .dat file to mem card

If you want to use Pukklink without CD just edit the install file.

    COPY cdrom0:\IPCONFIG.DAT;1 mc0:\BOOT\PUKKLINK\IPCONFIG.DAT

Thanks for all the Pukklink advice.
I was originaly trying to get Naplink (USB) as opposed to Pukklink
    working from MC.
I think I'll shell out on a network adapter and give Pukklink a go.

Just a note about that... Pukklink works great as long as you don't want to work on any network adaptor and hdd related software... since Pukklink initialises the Dev9 port for Network Adaptor access, if you run anything else that uses the Dev9 port, you can break the link very easily.
