06-25-2005,11:23 AMummmm.... that is a very general question.... a .dat (data) file can hold literally anything... music, images, hi scores, level data.... you name it - you can slap a .dat on the end of it.... therefore the data within could be of any format...
it could be a simple BMP renamed witht a .dat extention... compressed data, or other....
so extracting the information from a generalizd format would be a done on a file on file basis... thus being a time consuming affair.....
it all boils down to weither you or somewlse wants to spend the time extracting it...PS3 Slim 320GB

06-25-2005,01:07 PMAre you trying to pull the BIG.DAT off of your Action Replay? I know it has skips intentionally written to the disc that Isobuster or Alcohol 120% can get around.
