Hi

That image is stored in the PS2s firmware so editing it would be risky![]()
thanks for the reply .
So those apps out there so called ps2logo and other has no worth?
i have tried ps2logo but it only take cd images
where as i have dvd iso image.
Regards
EDIT :I assumed that logo image is stored in ELF file or something thats why we need to patch the game image not the Console Firmware.
Wait, theres already a program to do this? I'd better look into that.
I'm still pretty sure the logo is stored in the ROM though.
I think u are pointing to the same program i mentioned above " ps2logo"
but that app only like cd image's that is bin/cue
Regards
the logo isn't stored in the firmware (it's a bios being the chip controlling all the console function) in the bios there is only the reading of the logo from cdrom (it's stored in special sector of the disc) and do the effect under it (you can see what the bios do actually just by burning a disc with a system.cnf and an elf and without adding any logo patch. some chip can send other thing (to add secondary logo) or just use another logo and not the standard from cdrom, but these are chip things
Hmm...nice explanation
so it means that replacing the PS2 Logo is not possible in soft way.
All i want is to just add a marking to my backups so i thaught that would be great mark to change the starting logo.
If anyone have other ideas like put something after ps2 logo or something like i would appreciate it.
Regards
