Crystal Bootmanager cant MANAGE the HDLOADER
Crystal Bootmanager cant MANAGE the HDLOADER –
i have a strange problem with my HDLOADER on MC.
I have the Crystal Chip installed on my V4 Ps2, with the 0.7 Version of the Firmware Flash and the new Bootmanager.
I had installed Hdloader on my MC and bootet the HDLOADER from the APPLICATION MANAGER of BM.
The HDLOADER Starts fine. The List comes with the Installed Games/APPS.
But nothing wont start. I get everytime a BLCKSCREEN after starting a GAME/APP. I tried it with an UNPATCHED HDL and PATCHED HDL
Why is this happening ? And why on earth has no one else the same strange Problem like me ???
Thats not the solution...
it hangs with the new RUN.PBT too.
HDL probably needs a disc in the drive to start. Try that out....just put any disc other than a game.....maybe the Application Install Disc you created for example.
I guess the biggest question is can you boot HDL Games when you HAVE NOT loaded through Bootman? Biggest test, boot HDL on a disc, take out the disc when it has loaded. Do you have the same problem?
Paste the contents of your RUN.PBT in here.
Yes, it works fine without BM and HDLOADER on CD.
I think the BM has a BUG that has a problem with HDLOADER.
Also...you didn't answer my question "IF" you took the CD out after booting HDL.
Paste the contents of your RUN.PBT.
I haven't heard of anyone else having a problem except you.
Well I find that you can't install HDLoader onto your harddrive and have it boot correctly.
I still think you're doing something wrong somewhere. I'm going to release a crystal chip megapack available in bin/cue and plain files. Ill be adding an hdloader script in the plain files version so you can add your own hdloader elf to it.
