Controller Test Program
Controller Test Program –
Just wondering if anyone knows of a little program that a person could use to test all of the buttons on a PS2 controller. I think it would be damn handy to be able to test your controllers much like windows has for their gamepads and such. I've got a couple of controllers that I think some of the buttons aren't working most of the time, and it'd be nice to be able to check them properly.
If there is no such thing, I can't see it being all that hard to develop and then just burn to cdr. Anyone up for the task? Seeing as I know aboslutely nothing about ps2 homebrewin'...
A controller test program is included with pukko's padlib, which can be found at http://ps2dev.livemedia.com.au/
You will need to modify it to run from a CD though, since the test program is designed to be run from naplink.
Thanks sjeep... that's pretty much what I was talking about. (The link is no good though). And like I said earlier, I don't have a clue what I'm doing when it comes to PS2 homebrew, so I wouldn't know how to modify it to work on a cdr. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would be interested in this.
