once cdloader is up it will say somethinng in the lower left corner of what disc is in the cd tray, put in a game with a big TOC in other words a game with alot of memory, final fantasy x is a good one then press x , it will then say swap using ea method insert dvdr at this time swap using knife/slidecard or no solder chip method at this time. then press x, it wil flash some colors and then boot up the backup it must be done quickly the swap i mean, also to boot dvds you need to use a dvd game thats alot bigger than the backup

you gotta do this everytime just to boot a back-up , sounds like 3 swaps , 1 ps1 cd . 2 toc cd , 3 dvd-r. if thats so then cdloader kinda sucks.

    lol...i just read the instrucions,
    FOR CDR BACKUPS:

    1. Insert your CD Swap Magic 2 disc and boot it (skip this step if you have a direct boot chip).
    2.....etc
why the hell would you use cdloader if you have a direct boot....lol

    almost cat belive this.
    3. Once it boots (very obvious) swap with your CDR backup you wish to boot using flip top or other method.

can you boot with out a flip-top or knife trick?...
cuz if you cant then why the heck even use this thing!
