I have the server running on my ps2, with the ip 198.163.1.10, and everything is hooked up correctly, but I can't seem to sync to the server.
Anyone know about the ipconfig, and what I'm doing wrong?

Can you ping it? What is your pc network configuration (ip/mask)? Is the cable connected properly?
which version of hdl dumb are you using. if it version 0.9.0 then look at http://psx-scene.com/forums/ide-hdd-...p-0-9-0-a.html
I can't ping it, oddly. The server says it's up on 192.168.0.10
I'm using version 0.8.4... I'm going to get the .9 and see what I can do
I still can't seem to get it to attach. I'm using the IPCONFIG as stated, and I have tried forwarding port 12345 to the hld dumb server, as well as my own computer ip, neither of which works.
I'm trying to figure out the little thing I'm not thinking of.. any suggestions?
the problem i had was that i was using an old hdld_svr.elf file instead of the new one...
which can be found in the hdldumpguiv14.zip file in this thread
hxxp://psx-scene.com/forums/ide-hdd-discussion/47734-hdl_dump-gui-v0-1-a.html?highlight=hdl+dump
it wont let me post the link properly even though its the same forum![]()
