imbNES is a PlayStation (PSX/PS-one) format software, and must be a correctly formatted PlayStation disc, not a PS2 disc, that said if they boot at all, and not "r.s.o.d.", then the disc info is correct, and likewise the boot-up file SYSTEM.CNF, and if the softeware loads up at all, just fails to work right, then something is wrong with something on the disc, but the disc was made correctly, so we'll skip the fundimentals, I assume you placed SYSTEM.CNF at sector LBA12231, for your ps2 disc, doesnt matter for psx. imbNES: your rombank is likely the culprit, although I have imbNES 1.3 running, I used the rombank.bin and romlist.txt I had already built with the old rombank maker from imbNES 1.2, I could'nt get the new rombank generator to work right. Your PS2 disc that failed: BS after "Playstation2" spashscreen likely corrupted exe file (named same as disc label id), returns to browser after spashscreen, corrupted SYSTEM.CNF, loads something up, but then BS's, bad exe, or something else on the disc is corrupted, mine all work great, and run on my Developer's DeBugging Conoles, every time I master one.

A toxic agent on a dangerous mission so secret, even I don't know what it is, because if I did, I would have to kill myself. I don't even know who's side I am on.
