booting elf files from memorystick

Is it possible to run *.elf files from a memorystick?

I have a moded ps2 with matrix infinity.
But im starting to get tired of burning a cd everytime a new program is relased


So if i could install elf files from memorystick into memcard i would be happy
Or just run them from memorystick.
Witch program can do this?

Get any ELf launcher, like launchelf that supports memory sticks, or just install execftps, and ftp all the files to your mem card or HD. thats what i like to use.

i use launchelf to tranfer from usb to hdd and usb to mc it works in launch elf to transfer and to boot from usb.... of if you just want to boot from usb you can use key launcher

But i have tryed 2 diffrent mp3 player and everytime im booting one of thoes it just freezes...

should i try to copy the elf's to the memorycard first?

sorry about that last stupid question. its just my ps2's laser that's going to die soon. so it tock a while for the ps2 to read the disk.

Well, to do this you can use the infinity manager, u can install 4 appz in your MC, if you do not want to burn every cd, you just can transfer via ftp with execftps for example, in this case you'll need a ps2 network adapter.
One more thing, you can edit the *.DAT in your MATRIXTEAM folder to rename/redirect APPZ, so no need to unninstall the infinity manager and reinstall all appz when you want to change something

i have wondered why its not possible to delete programs in the program menu.

for KL... yeah I noticed that too... shame... hope that gets fixed.... as for he MP3 players... are you trying to run from the USB?.... I found that Reality Media Player will only load from the HDD for me... as it still takes for ever.... say 30 seconds to start sometimes....

never once got it to run from the USB or the MC....

I also have the same problem with KL, but if you put a cd/dvd in tray all your apps will boot perfect and faster, cause KL was designed to use with a MC exploit like MrBrown's in that case u need a cd in tray, but in our case is different...To do this, KL has to fixed...Same problem like we had with HDL sometime ago...
