the new ps2os spits out the disk at back to browser
with no mod, do you need to do the knife trick to swap or can you just eject?
I have a v4. I have tried compressed and not compressed. I have tried using key loader and launcherELF. I have tried on memory card and usb. I have tried versions 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, and 0.3b of ps2os, all with no luck.
With usb I get stuck at the loading screen. On the momory card I get stuck at PSX screen. Any ideas?
Does CDLoader boot psx backups?
my V1 dont work, but I tested with V10 and this work
alphabr -
you had to use swap trick right? you can't

I have an unmodded v9 ps2 (50001, date code 3c), I am exploiting using FF8 disc 2 to boot launchelf
I can verify that booting any ps1 game works for me, except that table of contents does matter. my exploit disc could boot a disc of lesser size, but it could not boot xenogears disc 1.
I have a copy of breaker pro which I am loathe to use because any time I boot it, it sits there and grinds for 10 minutes or more before booting (this seems unhealthy). I was able to boot xenosaga disc 1 by ejecting my ff8 disc after launchelf booted, inserting breaker pro, and then slide carding for xeno disc 1.
The suggestion to "just eject the disc at the proper time" absolutely does not and cannot work, but using swap-capable elfs that can dump back to ps2browser definitely does work for me.
If you're v9 and are having problems, make sure you're swapping from a disc with a larger table of contents.
so it is that my exploit loader is to low of TOC?
if you're sure your ps2 is a v9, then probably, if your ps2 isn't a v9, this just flat out won't work. I mentioned in another thread already that I highly suspect this has something to do with which ps1 bios is used by a given version of ps2, as some of the later ps1 bioses checked copy protection again during the black psx logo screen.
