personally... I think that this is not a bad idea... it needs expanded but things come as they present themselves....

    I see a need for:

    VCD/SVCD
    Xvid
    Dixv 3.1, 4, 5.02
    WMV
    MOV
    uncompressed AVI
as well as standard AVI compressions...

    keep working....

*******, good to see you back man. I personally honestly do not see the purpose in having any media player, whats so hard about burning a dvd? what are the advantages of having different media players? can't all these things be burned via dvd? not knockin anyone whatsoever, just a valid question. good job at trying to make something though if it's valid.

I know Teclis, he cant code for his life but he is an excellent storyteller. He should be writting childrens books instead of wasting our time.

It is strange, as I think it would be easier to read a file from a partition, rather than reading from a hdloader partition. I'm no coder, but this just seems common sense to me. But saying that, Keep up the coding as lots of us would like a MPEG player.

wtf guys......he's obviously coding better than you guys and does it really matter if it is useful to you specifically? I may not have the most useful use for it either but I will certainly check it out and give my feedback to help if I can.

I mean really.....what use is a freakin' neocd emu anyway? kidding it's great evilo (props to you) but you get my point....stop knocking beginner homebrew dever's. No wonder the other dever's (some of them at least) hate these forums.

You've apparently forgotten that it was former staff members of this forum who were responsible for some of the best stuff out there like the original Dee-Em-Ess modchips, HDLoader, and numerous other advancements. While these people moved on to more "commercial" ventures, we've continued to keep this place run as independently as possible. You'll note that we only recently added a single banner to our site while others, who mocked us for this very addition, have literally dozens of ads, many of them for companies well-known to be unreputable. We are also currently hosting sites for some of the best PS2 homebrew projects out there. Honestly, I'd actually go out on a limb and say this site, in it's various incarnations, has done more for the PS2 scene than any other. And, really, we don't care if you appreciate it or not.
