beta irc client for the ps2

probably because its a beta, and i was only able to test on my v7 ntsc ps2.

ill release the source sometime this weekend, and someone else can take a stab at it.

for the record I successfully ran this on a PAL V14 (no mod) from the memory card using the following (somewhat extensive :P) method:

retail usbextreme > multiloader 1.41 ISO > uLaunchelf from memory card > PS2IRC elf from memory card.

all files loaded to memorycard via ftp using execftp iso from usbextreme.

IPCONFIG.DAT in SYS-CONF folder was required for PS2IRC (note: it does start without that file though)

Has anyone got this working on a NON chipped Ps2?? i'm just using the Independant Exploit to play my games, etc.. and tried Ps2IRC.. but no work.. just flickers my ulaunchelf background.

I tried with with USBEXTREME no luck expect for a plain black screen this time. Ive also tried loading it in all sorts of places memory card of the network of USB HDD and using all different loading programs. Only thing I can think of is it hates my mod chip

I wish I could try and disable my mod chip to test it, but I dont have a swap disc. Swap disc are a good idea these days with DNAS mod chip checking and problems like this.
