Best speed to write iso at?
Best speed to write iso at? –
I've seen all over the internet people saying 1x 4x or 8x. I'll be receiving my memory card in the mail probally by tomorrow and wanted to check with someone who has done this a lot and can tell me from experience. Most, if not all games will be DVD iso's if that matters. I also have DVD Decryptor and IMGBurn on my PC.

In the old days the general thinking was to use the slowest burning speed for a stable burn, but I think these days with a modern burner the best thing to do is to burn your media at the maximum speed the device or media allows. In the end you will have to experiment around to find the best results.
PS2 likes DVD-r disks best.. good quality ones as the cheaper ones make the laser work harder and use IMGBURN to rip and write the games at AWS speed. this has given the most consistent results over the years i have been on this scene.
