    Don't know if you guys know about this, but it seems that Sony released the source code of it's BB Navigator.

    http://www.sony.net/Products/Linux/notice.html

    --> Go "NEXT"
    --> Look for the "GAME" category and select "Playstation 2"
    --> Select "Playstation BB Navigator" module
    --> It will show the list with the Linux packages.

    I'm posting this as a matter of curiosity. Could this help the development of new homebrew apps, or improve even more the existing ones?

    It's not the bbnav source code, it's the kernel 2.4.17 source for the playstation2, it's of no use without the linux kit.
    There is also a source.tgz file on the bbnav disc, guess what its contents is?

    Oh sorry then. I got this link from another message board, saying it was the source code.

    No need to be sorry, you should actually correct the people on the other board!
    One interesting thing about the website you gave the url is the "Development Tools" category, it contains the source of the 2.4 kernel for both psp(DTP-T1000) and ps3(DECR-1000) devkit!
