lol at Kevstah, yes I know, but the point was to answer iron_man's request. Personally I would never play this game off the PS2, it would make more sense to play it from a PC with sound.

Thanks, ps2dragon, but game do not work on mine PS2!
And still, whether there is a port wolfenstein 3d for ps2?
@iron_man: yea I know what you mean, I never got it working either. You have to run it through the network (doesn't work from MC, USB, HDD, or CD/DVD drive) and need to use a usb keyboard and mouse (no controller support). You also need the original Quake PAK files, which would be located on the original Quake CD. If you don't have the CD, you might be able to get it by download a copy of the Shareware version, which is free to download. More info on ps2quake here and here.
I modified PS2 quake to run from pendrive and I also added pad support. "id1" and "irx" directory should be placed on root directory of mass. Quake can be launched from everywhere.
For me, each version of mass_quake (pal, ntcs or vesa) doesnt work (((
I put id1(with quake *.pak files) and irx folders in the root of my flashdrive. After running elfs - black screen and zero activity((( Sorry for my English
belek666,
Thanx for advice. I'll go to experiment with all my pendrives )))
P.S.
Just tested my USB1 EasyDisk 128MB drive(with native support in Gran Turismo 4 Photo Mode). Don't work (((
Hi,
Great job! I´m always glad to see improvements in ps2 homebrew.
I could never get this to compile but you´ve cleaned up the code and it compiles fine with the prebuilt win32 ps2 sdk.
Unfortunately I´m getting the same results as dimm0505. I´ve tried with all 3 elfs from the pad folder but I always get the black screen. I used an Adata pendrive that is fully compatible with all my other ps2brew so I don´t think that the problem. Maybe were missing a step. I´ve got both the Id1 and irx on the root of the pendrive. I´ve tried putting the .pak file in the id1 folder and on the root. I´m using the shareware .pak file with the name PAK0.PAK and the size is 17.8mb(18.252kb).
Is it possible the shareware version isn´t supported or maybe a corrupt .pak file?
Anyways, thanks for your work on this.
*.pak files must be placed in id1 directory. "id1" and "irx" directory must be named with lower case. All version works fine for me. I saw that I'm using another modules. Replace "irx" directory with new one.
