Hello all, I was wondering, I found this Atari 2600 emulator for PS2 made by Chris Kirmse at this page : http://playstation2-linux.com/projects/stella-ps2
But it appears to run only on linux for the ps2.
I dont know much about programming(nothing basically), but i was wondering if its possible to convert this emulator to run without the need of linux, just recording it to the mem card or cd just like the other emulators available for ps2? It looks like it runs pretty good, but then again i dont know, I dont have a Linux kit.

I wanted to know if somebody is able to do this or if it takes to much time and effort. Thanks , best regards

Hope one day we'll have an Atari 2600 emulator for our PS2!

Wanted to do it... can't find emulator source code in C or C++... only in Pascal and assembly, would have loved to try it...

Would have taken a lot of time, don't know much of ps2 programming (YET)...

Find me a C or C++ source code for an atari2600 emulator, gonna look at the source and see if i can handle it hehe

Looking forward to it. You would bring great memories to old players out there, not to mention you'll be famous for being the first to create an Atari2600 emulator for Ps2. Good luck!!

Trying to get a few programmer friends into it... one shows much interest, other too, but far from here and very busy nowadays, if i get into it, will take some time just to get a first draft running, (i don't know much of the PS2 architecture).

Not doing promises, if any emulator programmer out there want to help, be my guest !

Anyone willing to program this? Common you could be famous! Many of us began playing with the Atari 2600, and bringing memories will bring you fame( "build it..and they will come" from Field of Dreams).

Too bad im dont know programming, I wish i could do it myself, but you could help!!

Don't know if stephq is still working on this(are you?). If you are , keep it up!
