Ar Max Evolution

I just wanted to know if anyone here has AR EVO MAX. I found it on bestbuy for 40 dollars, but what I'm wondering is if the media player on it is good, and what it means by "retro games". I know about emulators, but does ARMAXEVO come with one, and can you burn your own emu/roms with the "Max Studios" thing.

And it said it came with a flash drive, those are the small thumbdrives right...?

Reuqest warez? wtf are you talking about? I was not requesting ANYTHING.

I was asking if anyone had AR MAX EVO, and I wanted to know their oponions on it, thus why I posted this line:

I suggest you fully read messages instead of just jumping to conclusions, I never even mentioned requesting it for illegal download.

he didn't ask for it. He wanted to know if he should buy it.
And, by retrogames, it means genesis roms. it has a version of pgen that supports umcdr. It's burning software creates umcdr, so you just burn a disc with that, and hit eject, no swapping or whatever.

Thanks for telling me what the retro games was.

I was just looking through the announcements forum, and I came across a review for it, it said it was really bad, so now I'm having second thoughts.

i was gonna buy the same thing. but, I saw the swap magic discs, and realized I could do the same thing with those, plus more, for half the price. And it opened me up to a whole new world...And I've only been in the scene for 3 months...pity I missed so much though

I have it, I like it. And he wasn't requesting anything but adivce on getting it or not. I don't use swap or have my PS2 modded so it's cool that I can play Genesis games on my PS2 and watch avi movies. The Pen drive they give you is cheap though, I got a 64 MB Pen Drive, and you can get a bigger one than that too. It's a cool gadget.

And ZxeroXXX was not asking for warez, they were asking for people who own AR Max Evo to mention how good the software is because they are thinking of buying the software.

media player = sucks, video glitch & sync issues galore
pgen = cool, but you can use hdloader for that
memory manager = dont care
cheat codes/saves = dont care

you can get the pgen.elf (autoexec.elf) from the codejunkies website.. just download the max media creator, install, and it will be inside its program files directory.

pgen works fine, roms off the hdd work fine, its much better than using a umcdr..

execftp's works fine for me, no need to save MC space by compressing on the MC..

the only reason i could see to get this would be to cheat.. and i dont like to cheat.
