    Hi!

I wanted to know if it is possible to access a HDD or pen drive over a network. Would have to be formatted at least partly in FAT/FAT32.

I have got the PS2 Slim.

I would like to watch animes, listen music and playing backup games/emu from a HDD (external or that one build into my machine). Possible, yes/no?

Yes SMS for movies over network doing so right now can play MP3 too you do not need to format to anything special for shares for SMB movies or MP3 for movies you need avi or meg
yes for launching emulators over with RadHostClient.exe but would recommend USB device for ROMS

I think you already know about OPL for PS2 games over SMB
and PS2PSXe over radshell for PS1

    V10 SCPH-50001 with Network adapter SCPH-10281 500 G HD
    PSP 3000 9G 6.20 PRO CFW Perm
Unofficial FMCB v1.8C OPL self compiled HD and SMB preferred
Is how all good gaming systems came to be

    RadHostClient?

    OPL?

    RadShell?

I guess ROMs are fine for SNES and so on as they arent that big (5MB for SNES games, more or less maximum size, iirc).

Can I also access games for ESR launcher over network? So I can try out the backups before I burn them.

All most all operating systems have shares that allow access by SMB over Ethernet connection as SMS and OPL can access these with router or with crossover cable

read how for SMS read up here
