    That was my first thought and I hope he already tried that...

    It might help, if he connects his laser, or another idea...

    If you start your emus through ule, try to start it from USB and set IOP-Reset to 'off'.
    That might cause the emulators to use ule's USB-Drivers and MAYBE they are compatible to those emulators...
