XBSlink - Working with PS3

Is there many in these private things, and also are the gamers using hacks and cheats to play online to win easier?

Have you played people online with this or the xlink thing?

Useless if no one is using it, but now that we almost got banned, we might reconsider this.

Yeah belive me I know, untill today i used to play on PSN but im not risking my console getting banned now.. so.. we I think we should try this.

What we really need is to authenticate ourselves like we are using PSN, but rather using Xlink or XBS instead. The problem with this is LAN gaming is not available in a lot of games, compared to online multiplayer.

Good thing about these is theres usually rooms that 'cheaters' can enter to cheat, and normal players can have their own room.

isn't simply connecting to the internet with all the homebrew and illegal software , @ least in sony prospective , reason 4 them to ban our ps3 ?

so using this could get us banned

^They can ban you only in psn but not for your ps3. We can do whatever We want with our ps3.

I used this on call of duty black ops You can use any number of people and I never got wifi to work, but call of duty played good

tried to create a cloud service. its not working?! i only see 5 services currently, e.g. wiilive ...

so let us make an template for creating channs in the cloud like:

i will create later on such a channel. currently iam stuck in creating cloud channel with newest version. we will see how 0.8.5.2 is working

guys. tried yesterday and it works like a charme. you must take care of following.

1) please use cable only network. wifi/wlan seems to have problems.

2) your router must have dhcp disabled. before you disable dhcp make sur you set the setting of each device connected to your router (local lan) a static ip address like it was set by dhcp (start dos> ipconfig /all).

3) in your ps3 go to network settings and change it to automatic settings. go to list network settings to see which mac address you have. write it down.
turn off ps3.

4) start xbslink (as described some posts before, enter ps3 mac address) and start the engine. please take care that your ps3 mac adress is listed in xbslink as already described some posts before. join a ps3 channel "cloud" e.g. "PS3 BLACK OPS DEATHMATCH" (if it exists) it will, today european time at around 20.00-23.00 o'clock.

5) start ps3. from now on the network of ps3 will be configured by xbslink. its kind of a router, so thats also why you must disable dhcp on your dsl router.

6) in black ops go to multiplayer, local lan, join/create game.

7) have fun ...

please do not be scared. yesterday i chatted long time with some guys. we all tried to fix out the problems. please in the evening european time come in to this above mentioned channel and we will help. we speak german, english and french.
